Julie Lennox, Head of School email Julie

Julie has been at MIS since its inception 13 years ago. She is an alumna of the University of Montana with a B.A. in Liberal Arts with an EVST emphasis, 1989, and a B.A. in Elementary Education with High Honors, 1994. She is currently working toward her M.A. in Educational Leadership at the University of Montana. Julie has been a professional educator in varying capacities for the past 14 years.

Bill Chumrau, Business Manager email Bill
 

In the summer of 2009, Bill ttransitioned from being an MIS grandfather to joining the staff as the new Business Manager.  His prior experiences as a banker, the director of Missoula Community Business Incubator, and a contract consultant for micro business development with the World Bank position him to direct the school’s finances.  When he was contracting with the World Bank, he had the opportunity to consult with businesses in Poland, Russia and The Republic of Georgia.  Upon returning to the US, he taught high school in Moab, UT for five years.  Now that he is back in Missoula, he is excited to join the MIS team.

Jeff Kessler, IB Coordinator and Director of Admissions email Jeff

Jeff has worked as an MIS teacher since the fall of 2003. In the fall of 2006, Jeff assumed the role of IB Coordinator to oversee MIS's application to be an International Baccalaureate Organization World School while he continued to teach the middle school English and humanities classes. In the fall of 2007, Jeff accepted further administrative responsibilities by assuming the position of Director of Admissions.

Joann Magee, Office Manager email Joann

Joann comes to MIS from Nova Scotia, Canada where she was born and raised. In Nova Scotia Joann worked as an administrative assistant and secretary for a number businesses and organizations. In 2005 Joann moved to the Missoula area and accepted the position of MIS office manager where she brings her organizational skills and her friendly smile to MIS families and friends.
