Julie received a B.A. in Liberal Arts with an EVST emphasis and a B.A. in Elementary Education with High Honors from the University of Montana. She completed her M.A. in Educational Leadership in 2011. Julie has been with MIS as a professional educator and MIS alumni parent since its founding in 1995.  

Jeff came to MIS in 2003 with a B.A. in History from Willamette University in Salem, OR. He has an M.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana. As Assistant Head of School, Jeff’s specific responsibilities include coordinating the International Baccalaureate Programs at MIS, directing the admissions process, and providing leadership support to the faculty. Jeff also teaches middle school English and Humanities.  

Gary, an MIS parent, has a MBA and 30 years of professional business experience both as an entrepreneur running two businesses he started and as a general manager of a multinational company.  He lived abroad for most of those years in the Virgin Islands and Brazil.  He has a broad and rich background in all areas of business management.  

Joann comes to MIS from Nova Scotia, Canada where she was born and raised. In Nova Scotia Joann worked as an administrative assistant and secretary for a number of businesses and organizations. Joann brings her valuable organizational skills and friendly smile to MIS families and friends.  

Bethany received a B.A. in French with High Honors and a M.A. in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Montana.  She is an experienced fundraiser, having worked previously as a development officer at an independent, IB boarding school in Massachusetts.  Bethany is pleased to support a culture of Philanthropy and oversee the Communications at MIS as Director of Development.
