Parents, where are you from?
Kelly: Matt is from Virginia and I grew up in Maine.
What is/are your occupations?
Kelly: Matt is an associate professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning at UM, where he teaches ethics, philosophy of education and elementary social studies methods. Matt also works as a herpetologist at MPG Ranch, a research and conservation property in Florence, MT. I am the general manager at Montana Code School, a software development school.
What hobbies do you enjoy?
Kelly: Reading, playing music, and cribbage.
What things do you enjoy doing together as a family?
Kelly: We love traveling, hiking, camping and cooking together.
What brought you to MIS?
Kelly: Matt and I met at St. John’s College, a great books school. We are huge believers in critical thinking and inquiry-based education, so MIS was a natural fit.
