¡BIENVENIDOS a MIS!

Welcome and thank you for your interest in our amazing school!  We are excited to share a glimpse into the MIS experience with you. 

Our values - cooperation, connection, creativity - guide our culture and frame the benefits of the MIS experience; from the transformation that takes place when our community cooperates to foster learning to the deep, authentic connections our students, teachers and families make with one another.

Our students recognize that taking creative and academic risks, and sometimes even failing, is an important part of their pathway to confidence and growing. 

Our teachers encourage curiosity and inquiry with each individual learner. When you visit the classroom you may see small group discussions, hands-on projects, individual and collaborative exploration and team work. You may also see teachers working one-on-one with a student while the other students are engaged in their own work. 

I am fortunate to be part of a school that nurtures each child and values our warm community made of teachers, parents and students.
